Yes, c £80. There are several types of Brommie bags. You have to be careful which one you choose though as some models will only accept certain bags. You should be pretty safe with the Brompton S Bag which interferes less with steering/handling and will fit (I think) on all models. The cloth pannier only fits certain models and isn't waterproof. The S bag is waterproof. And really quite big with lots of pockets. My rack is useful even though I only have to walk up a small set of stairs and into office. From the door of the office, to the lift then to my desk - the rack is useful! But then you're a big strong man so your biceps are likely to be more able than mine!

Thanks Sarah - this really is very helpful. I've just rung my LBS - they are happy to maintain it for me, which is nice. |

you're welcome - i love my brommie and i hope you do too! Well, love yours that is! If I can think of anything else that Might be useful I will. all new models come with two metal pedals (the old ones had one metal and one plastic). All new models also now come with a hook that stops the bike folding when you lift it up. It releases with a catch to allow you to fold it up. Not sure if I like this - if you get knocked off I find that the bike "crumpling" absorbs some of the impact. Good thing is you can choose if you want it to lock on or not with a small twiddle of the mechanism. Lighting - you can get hub dynamo lighting but not on the titanium models. If you're tall you might want to think about getting the extended seat post. I'm 5'10'' and the standard one fits me perfectly. Any taller than this and you'll want to consider it. |

Oh and re: the model names - add -X to it for the titanium components (eXtra light) so S2L and S2L-X etc |

MrsP has given the green light as a *fourth* bike - don't need to get rid of the Vantara. Anyone got the folded dimensions to hand? |
