Another favourite memory is catching Rudd just opposite Ely North Junction Signal Box on a warm summer's evening, the pond was barely three-four foot deep and there were also Tench present but in the hour just before the sunset they were an easy catch :-)

The bell tolls for the Roach it would appear, and Perch looks the unexpected overall winner.

Been a great competition though, compelling battles, upsets and some priceless memories of times long long ago.

I think the Gudgeon has earned itself some lottery funding for next time tho....

Agree TRO, it's on the ODP for sure.

I've enjoyed this Deathmatch, I think partly due to it's quick fire nature.
