thank goodness for that (wrong result of course). You just don't want to know what would ironically have won if we had gone half way. Crosby beach and its Anthony Gormley statues

Gravy on a buttered Gandalf-biscuit served on Bamburgh Beach. Tell kids to that these days and they don't believe you. Not only that, you get told to leave the playground.

A travesty - but what deathmatch is about, I suppose.

Tut tut, macca....there is better work for pencil & ruler, I'll be bound.

I'm sure there is swits - bigger travesty is that Crosby didn't even make the start line

You drew me in expertly and now I need to apologise for my peremptory post. Which I do.

Having run over a good percentage of Crosby beach and, fortunately, not *into* any of The Hundred, I have to say its credentials are unconventional but that alone does not dilute the atmosphere and the inspiration there. :)

Of course, up in the northern wastelands they don't have sea, they have gravy washing gently up and down beaches of crystallised lard.

The Deathmatch Deathmatch will probably be next month - followed by the latest instalment of SuperDeath - an end of year bonanza of silliness.
