I've just seen this.

I've never done a full marathon before and with it being right on my doorstep it's pretty tempting to make this my first!

Thanks OB, 'tis also on my doorstep and it might be the challenge to get me running in 2015. Fully closed roads all the way won't make it a cheap race but for your inaugural marathon you may as well make it an inaugural marathon!

This is the sort of route that I like, so I have registered interest.

I'll be interested to see the full route details. I suspect there will be a few hefty hills!

Isn't there an old railway line? I thought they might use that but perhaps it isn't wide enough.

There is the Bristol Bath Cycle path which would be ok in theory but it's only 14 miles to get to Bath that way. Maybe part of it will be along there.

It's organised by the same people who have done the Cheltenham Half for the last two years. That event was really well-organised, so hopefully this will be too.

It's the same day as Stroud Half and the Gt South Run.
