I still have mixed opinions on loon pants. I generally like the fact that they camouflage the outline of my manliness, but similarly I feel that the excessive flaring was responsible for increased wind resistance and my subsequent failure to win.

Unfortunately the poll did not inquire into this in great detail. I do feel it is a relevant issue. :-)

I meant to provide feedback about the most dreadful marshals between miles 13 - 14. Tourist ended up marshaling a bit because the lame arsed crap official was on her mobile and letting people stand in the road, in the way of the runners.

There were a lot of people crowding into the road. I forgot to mention that.

I should also have complained about the poshos having champagne picnics on the front in Hove. Not because they were doing anything bad, but I really didn't need to hear their discussions about 'that pate that Jemima brought round' when I was close to collapsing.

I wish I'd thought to complain about the smell of burning meat coming from the many BBQs on the seafront in the last few miles - I was feeling so sick it just made me want to chunder!! I did have a moan about the shortage of loos at the start, but otherwise I was pretty positive. They have already said they will improve that for next year, and do something about the crowding on the prom, where there were no barriers to keep the crowds back.

I wanted to stop and drink the posh wine that the posh picnic people were drinking. It may have helped. I might ahve won if I'd done that.

Even if it didn't help you win, Mrs W, you wouldn't have cared! ;-)
