My watch recorded 26.3 miles, pretty much every other race I have ever done it has been short. I'm not jumping to any conclusions from that though.

Distance on the Garmin isn't the issue. Knowing the course like the back of my hand, I had this thought that the start line may have been moved to nearer the viaduct end of Preston Park based on the additional yardage around miles 4 and 9.
