I'm finding quite a few hotels from £65 upwards per night for a double room. A lot of them less than a mile from the town.

You'll also find that most Brighton hotels will only let you book for a minimum of 2 nights.

I said MOST, not all as I know someone will go and post "ooh, we've only booked for one night" or that other pikey thing of "we've booked for two but we're going to cancel one"

I was informed that the way to deal with this is to book the two, then cancel one. Never tried it though.
