Only thing stopping me from major complaining at the half was that I ran under someone else's name (slaps own wrist)

I hated Brighton half the one time that I ran it (but it was my first ever half so I made lots of newbie mistakes).

I briefly considered it for 2011 but am not going to pay £22 to enter, just seems a bit steep to me.

Hadn't thought of going down to Brighton on the morning of the mara but it could be a much better move!

I did the Brigthon half a couple of year a go and it was fine. Can't remember anything out of the ordinary about it.

Last year RTTB was a lot better apparently -- a friend ran it and had no problems. The first year was a disaster though.

Let's hope it's improved again this year then! :-)

I've always enjoyed Brighton half, up to this year. The queue to cross the finish line, didn't really affect me, but I wasn't impressed by having to wait in the rain to hand in my timing chip.

And then there was the "help yourself" at the unmanned bag drop!

To be honest, the race has got too popular, making it very crowded and potentially dangerous during the early mile through the Lanes .

Is today the day to sit around and see who drops out of this because they got into VLM?
