Is the cut off really 6 hours? The FAQ says "anyone moving around the course at slower than seven hour pace (that is slower than 4 miles an hour), may be told to move on to the pavement".

6 hours would seem harsh - I gather that *taps calculator* 13:45 min/mi is in fact a running pace for some.

Abingdon has a 5 hour cut off, so it's reasonable and they're not closing the course, you can finish.

Just checked and we paid £43 inc. booking fee of £3

@Pestomum. I'm not sure what the correct form for this is but would rather like £43.
@John66 and AJPAR thanks for the advice

& last but not least congratulations Tinytia!

13.45 mi/mile is my training pace I'm hoping to be a bit quicker on the day but if its as hot as last year possibly not. I would like to point out that even at my lsr pace I still overtake people walking.

Just ran my highest ever mileage this month.

6 hour cut off -- so does that mean anyone slower than 6 hours doesn't get a medal or an official time?

Humph!!
