Boddington's the only UK road mara in June. The Dartmoor Discovery is rather harder at 32ish miles, same month.

Stockholm is usually the last weekend of May or first weekend of June.

The trail alternative is South Downs, by far the best atmosphere of the trail maras I've done. It's a proper race, not just ambling about with a tatty bit of paper between cake and tea stops (don't much care for LDWA events!).

Christ no, it's trail! It is a very nice marathon though, and they do excellent tech t-shirts in women's fit.

Mrs W... just get on with it and get your next years Brighton entry sorted :-)

Next year it will not be sunny.... it will however be pishing with horizontal rain and a force 9 gale that is magically always in yer face for the whole 26.2 miles (not as long as London but a test non the less)
