Hi everyone!! Well done all of you for running on Sunday, it was a fantastic day!! I don't know most of you but I guess most of you know me so a big THANK YOU for all the encouragement I got from everyone, it was kinda HOT in that suit!!!!

I must have a dodgy thermostat!! I was ok really. Had a few 'TOO HOT NEED AIR' moments, but they soon passed!!!

How on earth did I miss you when you went past Fetchpoint Alfie? Must have been when I went to the petrol station to buy more sweets. Welcome to Fetch by the way, an impressive marathon time for a hot day in a novelty suit.

I actually ran yesterday lunchtime and did intervals last night :¬) Thanks Billy I just wanted to see some of the people I had worked with as I knew it had been tough. |

[giggles] I did see the fetch point but honestly thought someone might throw me a stick into the ocean and make me go fetch it!!! It was a superb day!! I made full use of ALL the water stations!!! It was the first time I had run an event in the suit and wasn't expecting the crowd or fellow runners to be as amazing as they were!! Thanks Everyone!!! Hope you all look out for me at London!!! I am obviously fundraising for the Guide Dogs so if anyone can help out with some pennies or pass my link onto friends it would be really appreciated!!! justgiving.com Alfie also has a facebook page and needs lots of friends .. Alfie GuideDog add him if you like!!! Oh and Alfie is actually a girl!! So no more calling out GOOD BOY Thanks!!! |
