Ted just saw your time, wish I'd run with you now, you came in 4 seconds behind me, can't believe I didn't spot you at the end. Was about 10 paces behind you for first mile then stopped to tighten my belt and lost you.

Hemel Runner
What an great race!. The support was amazing. Some of the supporters were putting in as much effort as the runners. I've never seen anything like it. Thanks for the bannana and jelly babies at fetchpoint. By that point time predictions were out the window and it was just a case of getting to the finish in 1 piece. Did anyone else see the 800 metres go sign and think 's*** that's a whole 2 laps of a race track'. |

Another good brighton marathon I thought. Crowds were just as good as previous year but they were controlled better with the fences. Loved the powerstation section again - i like the quiet challenge before it goes manic again once you reappear on the seafront. Enjoyed fetchpoint too spotted big chief + schneke and shouted HOOVER which drew a muffled cheer LOL. |

HR - exactly what I thought too! I was working out if I could run 800m in 2mins 20secs. Sadly I couldn't even without running 26 miles!

Didn't see the 800m one but did the 400m and was the longest 400m of my life.

Re cheaters, I've just seen a Brighton Marathon Medal for sale on fLeabay! Are they buying it to show off and say they finished or to pocket the sponsorship money when they 'prove' they finished?
