I had a quick look at that TZ and it seems that a race position of vertical is valid. :)

Ted - Haha! Nice.

Gobi looked so good because he ate Clif Bars for dinner the night before the race!

How many shot blocks would it take to keep him quiet? ;-)

Just seen some pics and Gobi is there on the Marathon Photos all orange and happy looking!

Mine are less attractive but I was still running (ish) at the end :-)

There a great photo of Gobi and his pacees in the Brighton Argus today. When I get a chance I'll put the link up.

Nice to hear of everyones successes, and comiserations for those not so lucky. Well theres always the next marathon, isn't there?

Boo to cheaters. I mean how can you tell people you have run a marathon, when you know you ducked out of most of it?

A champions reception was the least I was expecting, Chiefy ;) I trust similar will be enacted at The Chandos next Sunday, after completing a famous double ;)?

Have to say I had a great time yesterday, sorry mrs a and I didn't stay for a drink at The Globe but we wanted to get out of town before the traffic got worse. Don't mind the heat and I enjoyed a wee bit of sunshine.

Top job all the pacers, spot on and enjoyed watching people finish. Agree with Gobi though I don't think I have ever see as many people in distress at a race as yesterday.

Well done all. My marathon ended at 14 miles, so I missed you all at Fetchpoint. Maybe next year...
