TZ - I was with the 3:20 pacer until 12 miles or so and he was superb. I had to ease off due to blisters. I was gutted when your 3:30 crew came past me during the power station stretch! Anyway, the pacers did an amazing job.

I nearly had a blue fit when I caught up with the sub 5 hour pacer after the first mile(I was 9.5-10mm at the time)

TZ have you though of a great big GAG for Gobi.... heard him a mile off as he came back down the hill towards the Marina as I was running up the hill. He probably deafened his pace group ;-)

emdee - thanks so much. What time did you finish? Sorry that we came past (I was pacing the 3:30 group)!

PH - it did take a couple of miles for the groups to form up with the pacers. We were allocated positions in the starting pens which should have resulted in us being alongside those intending to run at our designated paces. But obviously many runners were slightly in-front/behind in the pens and therefore had some shuffling to do before they were with their pacer. I'm glad it was only "nearly" a blue fit :-)
