must just add my sincere thanks to all at fetchpoint, the many cheers and shouts I got on the course and also getting a chance to meet lots of fetchies on the route, that's the good thing about switchbacks! The heat took its toll on me today too. Walked (with the occasiional 10 - 20 jog when embarrassment was setting in) the bulk of the last 6 miles. Sorry, but that power station section was absolutely dire and it just compounded how bad I felt. However great marathon, support was amazing and organisation brilliant.

Well done all fetchie runners and supporters. xx

Well done to everyone who ran this. I was pleased to be helping at Fetchpoint rather than running. It was a tough day for a marathon.

Thanks ogee, I was planning a 3:30 ish and ran the first half with a guy I met who was aiming for the same. He struggled at about mile 16 and I just pushed on.

Great day today, if not a tad to hot! very pleased to go sub 3.30 in such extreme heat. Well done everyone and thanks to those on Fetchpoint. :)

Massive well done to Ding Dong and Swerver who have taken 20mins and 27mins respectively off their PB's at Brighton to-day and set the bar very high for their team mates at VLM next week - no pressure there then guys!!

That was hot and hard. Going well up until mile 18 then the heat got to me, had to walk heading out from Hove and again in the Power Station section but picked it back up again after 22. Still managed a PB but didn't get the sub 4 I wanted.

Amazing, seems like I was 20 seconds faster than last year, woop, woop :)

Tough but enjoyable today. Glad I slapped on a trowel load of sun cream before leaving home.

Great to meet up with everyone before, during and after the race. The Fetchpoint, was amazing.

Had to divide my time between work friends, brother ,and fetchies in the pub, but I hope I chatted with most people. Just glad everyone seemed to enjoy my suggestion
