Gosh that was hard work, I don't think I do marathons in heat very well! 4:29:25, definitely wasn't a negative split this year!

Always lovely to come across Fetchpoint, just when I needed it! Thank you :)

I'm very much looking forward to watching the runners at London next week ;)

I'm completely and utterly exhausted now, with very achy legs.

Thank you everyone who was there for the wonderful support, and my sincere apologies for my rudeness at Fetchpoint - didn't say hello to anyone, just demanded my oranges :-0

I shall sleep like a dead person tonight.

Some great times today in the heat :-) Congratulations to all those who gained a PB as well as all those who managed to finish :-) running a marathon in the heat is not easy :-) Prays for cooler weather for Edinburgh ;-)

Pulled out at 17 miles :( Saw the fetchpoint as I was walking back and it was fab, well done all and to all who ran :)

Thank you fetchpoint - you were fantastic, I was really grumpy really really really grumpy cos that damn sun always comes out on my marathon days :-(

As grumpy as I was it was still a wonderful sight :-):-)
Somehow having walked from the 19 mile marker to the 23 mile marker I got a 1 min PB, beautiful course, well organised, just a bit too hot;-)

sorry i missed you sharon - i dashed off to check on Man and missed a lot of stuff.

everyone did brilliantly. and the event looked so well organised. a cheeky little drink in the pub afterwards was rather nice too. :-)
