Never bought a hoover in the end. Couldn't decide. I was going to get one of them new fangled Dyson's with the ball, but the dust collection bin looked tiny on the new models.

I did, however, spend £200 on a desk fan :-/

Cheese and bean toasties, oh yes.

Who needs hoovers when you have a desk fan anyway?

I was working on the assumption that if she spent £200 on a desk fan that she is either 1. so overcome by tapir madness that there is no help or 2. she is loaded so saying nice things may mean I am a beneficiary of her generosity one day?

With a £200 fan I doubt there'd be any thing left to hoover!
Incidental further spending - £100 on paper weights? lol

Sorry, Im too old, obviously a paper less operation!

I have visions of Pootle's desk fan being the sort they put in a wind tunnel. I expect to see her with it strapped to her back on the start line. Watch out people behind :-o

It's one of these johnlewis.com

It doesn't make tea, but it *does* light up blue when you switch it on...
