Like Poots and JohnnyO, I also bought a new Hoover yesterday. Will this help on race day?

I am not sure. It was in the training plan so I just did it.

I also got a new toaster at week 6.

Maybe I should have got the upright type. I'm thinking I could fly round the course Quidditch style on it?

Just been out for 10 miles in the sun. 4 at sub-3 pace for good measure. Just short runs on Tuesday and Thursday to go :)

I didn't buy a Hoover yesterday, but I did get a new fan belt for our dyson. Does this count?

No running this weekend - yesterday I cycled 4 (yes 4!) miles to/from football training with Son2 and my legs nearly fell off. The first 2 miles are mostly sort-of uphill which was a killer (although coming home was a freewheeling breeze).

Today should be 3 but it's Mother's Day and I have things to do and I'm resting after the massive cycling trip. I shall be eating whatever my family give me to eat and might drink some alcohol. After today I'm on a clean and healthy diet for the rest of the week.

I haven't purchased any new household appliances this week and am now feeling at a bit of a disadvantage. :-(

I've just purchased a ladder as a Mother's Day treat... Shall I bring it next Sunday?
