Please can I be added to the header, mulbs? Orange 4040, ta :-)

I don't mind if I cry at the finish line of the race - it'll mean I'll have finished. I just don't want to cry at the start, or all the way round...

Hello.

I've been in denial for a while, but with just over a week to go I thought I'd best find out what was happening. I've resurrected my race pack from the corner it was lovingly flung into when it arrived.

Apparently I am Yellow 3337.

So, erm, that's that then I suppose. The prospect of beers afterwards will get me to the end - it pretty much works with every race I do :-)

Oh, sorry to go on, but is there a Fetchpoint thread for Brighton? The link above doesn't work...

I'll get my coat now.

I don't know when the weather was last checked, but it looks like perfect running weather to me on Metcheck at the moment. Cloudy, 10 to 11 degrees. Brilliant.

I'm trying not to think about the race at the moment because I get too excited! At the moment I just keep telling myself over and over that the excruiating pain only really lasts 40 to 50 minutes. That's nothing really, in the scheme of things.

Just treated myself to a sports massage, the niggles are clearing up, and I'm certainly starting to get excited about this - hope everyone has a good final weekend, whatever there plans are.

Also the Cancer Research vest arrived yesterday - so time for an airing tomorrow.

Hackett 4331 ....Struggling with shin splints ... So have decided 100% taper in April and will hope to get through the 26.2 miles. Will need to zip up the man suit.

I actually did a pregnancy test last night to see if that's the reason I can't stop troughing down on any bit of food that is in a one mile radius. It was negeative. So was the one I did after that.

I don't actually want to be pregnant, but it would have been a good explaination for my current food consumption. And why my kit will no longer fit by next weekend.
