Also Reading Manage checkpoints every 5km - I think only the GNR does this - but would have been nice to see more checkpoints at Brighton. May have to rely on googles latitude instead.

This year I sneakily ran in the Californian desert, therefore cunningly preparing myself for the heat. Ha! Just got back from Physio - he thinks I've just tweaked my MCL. Nothing serious and hopefully will be fine on the day if I keep doing my exercises and foam rolling. Phewie.

If it's chip timing then it doesn't make any difference, and I might actually get the chance to overtake some people. I'm running my own race this time and not getting sucked into any keeping-up-with-the-Jones's type stuff.
