Reading their bumph, I believe they will have on course showers this year. They didn't last year, did they?

The BM iPhone app - is this going to bleep at my husband every time I run over a check point mat, or will it be based on my predicted finish time?

Oooo, this info might be usefull for some of you. Just e-mailed them asking about the showers and got an auto response with this info...

Runners cannot move forwards into another corral.

Timing chips will not start UNTIL YOU CROSS THE START LINE.

o White Elite athletes running 2-3hours finishing time
o Red: 3-3.30hrs finishing time

o Blue: 3.30-4.30 hours finishing time
o Pink: 3.30-4.30 hours finishing time
o Green 4.30-5 hours finishing time
o Yellow: 5-6 hours finishing time
o Orange: 5-6 hours finishing time.

In exceptional circumstances, you may be permitted to change your starting corral position. Please come to the ‘Are you Ready’ Exhibition on Saturday 9th April, where a representative will be available from 10am to 4pm to offer you a replacement race number.

The App looks pretty simple, takes a feed from the HM point and doubles your time to give a finish prediction.
Way too early to even be thinking about the weather.

Showers are at miles 15 and 22.

With regards to the iPhone app. It will track your progress from the start, half way and finish and it will go from your chip time, not gun time.
