Mrs W - I remember last year they were telling peeps if there had been an error just to go to the corral they should have been in, good luck :-)

Aha, I think they *must* have grouped people from their previous marathon PB, because looking at other peoples start pens and their previous race times it seems to tally up.

I feel most sorry for Hepburn, right at the very back but is only a 2 hr halfer. I imagine they put her there because this is her first mara...

I started at the back last year as I was a virgin, whatever I estimated I might achieve on the day.

I was in the wrong corral last year but TBH it doesn't make much difference, I was running as soon as I crossed the line and there wasn't any congestion.

(you could basically go in any corral last year, it was poorly marshalled)

I actually quite liked it at the back with all the fancy dress dudes. Plus it gives you 'targets' to pick off as you slowly move up through all the dweebs who set off too quickly.

Got my race pack in the post today. I noticed in the information that there is going to be pacing groups. I might try and stick with the 4 hour crew but will probably tail off towards the end.
