Marathon pace 12 miler for me last night. Felt good, sustainable.

My legs feel like blue waffles today though.

Fans and I are now officially 'out' of Brighton as we have deferred to next year. I guess it was not meant to be. We now have eight months to get ourselves in shape for Abingdon :)

Wasn't massively impressed that deferring means you get to pay again in 2012.

Isn't that always the case for deferring though? It certainly is for VLM.

Know what you mean, Keefy, but I am unable to run it now so it was either a choice of:
(a) not running it and getting no money back and running it again next year, paying once again; or
(b) deferring and having a guaranteed place next year, paying once again.

Not much difference, granted, but as deferring costs nowt it feels better than just a straightforward DNS :)
