I didn't see pacers last year. Or polos.

I'd love it if there was a 3.45 pacer.

I'd be happy to tag a 3.45 pacer too

I did some Yasso 800's last night....the splits for each effort would indicate I should run a sub 3:45 marathon....I wish!! Still, I am going to give these babies a go over the next 7 weeks and see what happens.

This is the article explaining Yasso's http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-244-255-624-0,00.html

On another note....20 miles for me on Sunday, I am going to be sensible this week and prepare for it and not just expect a good run to happen

I did some Yasso 800's last week FF and funnily enough mine predicted about 3.55 ish but i think that's a little optimistic, have had to have the week off running due to man flu! But hopefully will get out for 4 or 5 miles tonight then 20 miles for me too on Sunday. I am going to do 5 runs that add up to 100 miles which worked for me last year. good luck with your 20 :)

My yasso 800s indicate somewhere between 3.41 - 3.44 at the moment. I'm doing another session on 26th March to see where I am then.

I had a fright this week, thought I had got achilles tendonitis, but super-fizz gave me the once over last night and it seems it's just a tweaked muscle, most likely from wobbling around in heels on Wednesday. Flat shoes and no running until Sunday prescribed. :-)

Yassos don't really work as a predictor of marathon time. Always ends up optimisitc.
