I have not lost my mojo but, I have lost my legs. I have a cunning plan to recover them, total rest for a wee while. :)

I haven't lost my mojo either, so you lot had better get back on track or I will win it too ;-)

Seriously though, try not to let it get you down. I remember having a terrible 18 mike run when I was training for Luton and I got home and cried. I went and did a fabulous 20 miles the week after. We all have crap runs sometimes, the trick is to not let it shape your next one x

As this is my first, I'm starting to get an anxiety I haven't felt since I sat exams (a long time ago).
The way I look at it, is that I know I am capable of covering the distance - I've walked this far in a day several times - the only question is how fast.

Keeping going everyone, I'm sure this isn't supposed to be easy otherwise everyone would be doing it.

Had a bad run today too, was awake in the night with stomach ache and have had a cough so don't consider it too bad, should have done 15, but did 13 along very wet & muddy trails!

Same thing happened to me on build up to London last year Pootle, had really crap LSR that I cut real short and just couldn't work out.

Came down with a viral infectiont he next day.

By the way, I am blaming all you doom merchants for my bloody terrible 19 miler this morning. ;-)

I had a terrible run on Wednesday where I felt like binning my running gear straight afterwards (not helped by potentially unrealistic expectations/targets and a certain Fetch-thread)

However I visited a cracking parkrun yesterday (and won it!) and enjoyed an 18 mile LSR today, so the Skins live to fight another day - for now...
