Personally - Saturdays are parkrun days - I far prefer my races to be on a Sunday. But that's just me. I could very well be a lone voice on this one...

18 miles in the bag today! Had a twinge in my calf muscle at 14 miles but I think it will be okay :)

10 miles for me Sunday. Felt good plus picked the pace up the last couple of miles.

I think Sundays are still the best for marathons, especially if I've got Monday off.

Saturday is good, but I often do a 2am finish at work on a Friday. Beachy was on a Saturday, and I think I had about 3 hours sleep the night before :)
