Like I said, I've been caught out in a marathon before, I will never ever let it happen again. It was shit.

I am praying for a nice fine drizzle and a cool day, the weather has scuppered me on my last two attempts of a sub 4

I'm npt sure if the weather is a problem for me (I don't like the heat) or whether I just worry about it more than I need to and then my head goes BANG.

I'm sure my legs can do a decent marathon, it's just convincing the rest of me that I can ...

Having grown up just outside of Brighton, my concern is the wind.
However, the route is designed so that if there is a significant wind, we are most likely going to have it on our backs for the last few miles of the race :-)
Just watch out for the Herring Gulls trying to get your gels!

Well last year my problem was running the first few miles far to quick.

I just got into the crowd support so much.

Yes and the weather was hot too, I think April can be a funny month for weather. Sometimes it seems to be hotter than say May or June

OK beginning to panic a bit now as not run anything further than 4 miles since the end of November (15 mile race). Have been suffering with tendonitus (sp) and am planning on 6 tonight, and a longer one on Sunday. Really wanted this year to be a good marathon with the full training behind me - did brighton last year but didnt enter until end of Jan. Loved the race day, brilliant race and so well organised. Am I the only one way behind with training?

10 miles tomorrow :-) It is starting to add up now. Just been in Saudi so could not run... it was raining and the city was under 2 foot of water!
