The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I was thinking of just handing it over on the race morning. I don't think I'll be at the pre-race meal.

You mean we won't need passport, DNA and blood type to get our race numbers like London Marathon.

You might need a letter from the person who you are collecting for, but I think thats it.
There are rules on their website somewhere.

I don't mind collecting peoples numbers - already doing it for someone else & myself, so no trouble at all if anyone is stuck?

My brother will collect mine when he gets the Mini-Mile packs for our children. Previously I've had my number and chip delivered but I have not heard what criteria is needed for a third party to pick up a marathon pack.

I'm going down on the Saturday to collect and so I'm happy to collect for others and then hand over when we all meet at the meeting point on Sunday morning by the big tent.

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
