I have changed from gels to shotblox this time round and they are working really well for me. Plus water and lucozade and the occasional Freddo.

i have had 3 weeks off - i am 100% now so back to training tomorrow - i think i should be fine still as i still have 7 weeks - should take a week to get back up to 3 weeks ago - and then move on from there -
any suggestions to help me tweak my training and schedule other than removing hills completely?

I'm in the same boat, Colette. I missed 3 weeks, I've done a week back but cut my long run and just did what i could this week, then I've knocked out a cut-back week between now and the taper so I can fit in an extra LSR (well, not an extra one but one that I'd missed).
The other thing is we need to listen to our bodies and if we feel that we're struggling be honest and ease it off a bit.
