What you do is, you train for Brighton and then you have the victory lap around London, however Brighton went.
Worked for me last year - Brighton was difficult and London was an absolute blast

HellsBells, no you don't. You do London and you do it to the best of your ability and you don't put yourself under the additional pressure of Brighton as well. 2 marathons in 10 days is great if you do it regularly or want an extra-tough challenge.
Otherwise it's just stupid.

I agree with nellers. I''ve done the multiple marathon thing in the past and while it can be an interesting challenge don't let fetch normalisation make you think it's a sensible idea!

I've no intention of doing it, I'll be doing Brighton 2014 - is it too early to start a thread for that?

I think it's traditional to wait at least until this year's race is run before talking about one in two years time!

What's happened to the Brighton marathon website? Was thinking of running it next year for charity and wanted to know about the route/hills etc... Has anyone done it before and can allay my fears?. This is my first marathon and not want to start on one that will make me never want to run again!
