Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I suspect I might not bother trying to change hotel given the rates that are being mentioned now...

We're staying in the same place as last year - a fabulous hotel by the west pier on Regency Square. It's cost £180 for 2 nights. It's fully booked already!

I think I may stay along the coast a bit to avoid the highest prices.

For "normal" trips away I usually go for cheap hotels because I don't spend much time awake in them. But for a marathon I'm far more likely to be in the hotel sitting doing not very much so I'd rather splash out for somewhere nicer, it's not like I'm doing a marathon every week.

I have a slightly different way that I have to look at it, as I run a fair few of these every year.

This is off my race calendar now due to finally getting in London. Won't be deferring as you still have to Pay the following year to enter ?!?And they don't do transfers :(

Good luck all. TTFN x

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Group Photo 08:15?

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.

Have a cracking race, see you all on Sunday.
