This will be my 4th Brighton marathon - I love it. To me the costs are entirely justified - it's a huge race, full road closures, very well organised. We make a weekend out of it and stay Saturday and Sunday night - muchos fun :)

myhotel brighton, dg :) it's quite expensive for the saturday night, but cheaper for the sunday so works out as good value over the 2 nights :)

This will be my 4th Brighton :) Only moan is that its the end of school holidays and have to go home straight after packing up over caravan.

Kemp Townhouse...was £165 including breakfast which is expensive but cheaper than the Hotel du Vin which didnt include breakfast...

sounds very nice :) now you just need to convince them to give you breakfast early enough. which has just reminded me i must do the same for my hotel! if they do breakfast? i didn't think to check!!

oh this will be breakfast on monday morning so we can have a lie in...pre race we are staying with Mgpie's parents in Eastbourne :)

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Group Photo 08:15?

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
