I have entered too - this will my first marathon so glad to see so many positive comments about the race.

Now for the training; I need to build up my mileage - an excel training plan sounds a good idea too.

RAS1 - have done all 3 Brighton marathons and it a fantastic race, great support. It's got better every year :-) No4 for me next year :-)

Yes, number four for me as well! Well organised and a great atmosphere. Just a shame that they don't have an official race sponsor which might lower the entrance fee a bit.

Right, I've decided to ignore all my complaints and enter anyway, about six hours later, once I filled in their incredibly concise entry form, and paid an extra £2.50 "service charge" for having spent hours filling in a form, I'm in.

It better be worth it!

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
