I like the OAP drummers the best (can't remember where they are, but it's a busy spot). I love drums when I'm running, they get me right *here* [points to spot somewhere around stomach]

I liked the sound systems along Church Road in Hove last year. I remember one was playing the theme from BBCs Ski Sunday, made an excellent running tune.
Plus there's usually a DJ in the harbour bit to jolly us along, if not some sailors party.
I actually quite enjoy the crowds, even playing up to them a bit and having a joke with them.

The drums at Bath at the top of a (slight) hill are good. Like a drum to when running.
Over enthusiastic DJs are good, egging you on a bit to much............playing `Keep on running`.
Fields of gold by Sting was played at the start of the Great North Run, that was weird.

If I hear "Search for a Hero" or "Proud" by M-People I may sack it off

We had 'Goody Two Shoes' (Adam Ant) at one point last year - usually one of my best running tunes but I was in a foul mood at that point and made me shout 'Shut Up!!' really loudly

Just realised I've never run in a race where there are crowds! I'm really looking forward to that part, smiling and people wishing you on always helps.
When I was doing 2 miles at MP last night, every time I thought of running half way through with the crowds there, my HR shot up by five, ha!

The people of Brighton are really excellent, they make it for me.
And Paula, the drums get me too.

Wondering if I should be feeling nervous or excited by now. I guess I will a bit fluttery on Sunday morning.
And if it's warm and/or sunny, don't forget suncream folks.

I'm getting excited now, in fact so excited I can't really be arsed with work tomorrow.
Think I will be fine by Saturday, as by then I'll be in marathon zone
