Hi everyone, I live in brighton (for the last 40 years) so if you need any local intel just let me know. I've also run the race every year since it started, its an awesome experience with great crowds so if its your first time you'll love it.

12 miles this morning, and looking forward to an easy week now! First race in a loooooong time, I'm in reasonable shape and NO injuries, it's a miracle I tell you! Have a massage tomorrow, quite excited about that too.

4 miles yesterday at race pace, and a very slow, boring 8 this morning. 2 x 4 miles and one short interval run during the week and then I might try a 26.2 by the coast on Sunday - anyone else fancy it?

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.
