Hi Guys Quick update on the race Hog Gods are coming along to feed you hungry runners for the 3rd successive year. The thought of a hog roast at the end of the race is a good motivator! We will also have a sports massage lady this year...details to follow And for the first time there will be a stall selling Cani-cross gear for runners and their dogs....exciting stuff |

''IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Thetford Athletic have just been informed that due to essential maintenance works taking place on the Breckland 10K course, this years race scheduled for 6 May has been POSTPONED. A new date has been arranged for this; this is now Sunday October 13, 2013. Entry to the 2013 Breckland 10K is temporarily closed and will re-open again soon. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.''

Was going to enter this now I've been paid but will hold fire now. Norfolk road races seem to be jinxed in 2013. |

It is with great regret that we have had to make the decision to cancel this year's race. Due to roadworks in the village on the traditional date and a clash of dates with local race on the re-scheduled date we are unable to hold it this year.. All entrants will be contacted and offered the choice of carrying their place forward to next year or having a full refund. Sorry!
