It's lovely. I'm in Lincolnshire, I can hack it.

Possibly my absolute favourite road marathon. I have some fabulous memories from the Lakes.

You'll be fine, RotJ :)

I'm a bit disgruntled that I'm going to have to pay for my entry ticket this year. That's not the deal I signed up for when I did the 10-in-10. I might just come along and ride my bike around the route and cheer folk on instead.

You now only get the freebie for the year after you do the 10-in-10, DeeGee :(

That will be factored into my future sponsorship decisions.

I can see the point. It's a charity, and with so many people having done the 10-in-10, in a few years they could end up putting on a marathon at which hardly anyone has to pay to enter. But still. It's not what I signed up for.

free entry the year after completing the 10 in 10 & a 10% discount each year thereafter in future DG - personally I'm happy to pay my entry fee as it goes into the charity.

There are at least 2 Fetchies doing the whole 10 days ROTJ & it's normally very popular especially with Northern based Fetchies.

The day of the marathon is HellsBells's birthday so it's going to be a big Fetchfest :)
