for the first time in a long while i really struggled tonight, variety of reasons, didn't sleep well, stomach not feeling great - the cold, wet & had a great run last night & maybe feeling it a bit today - i keept going & didn't give in so that's a good thing.

Keeping going and not giving in is undoubtedly going to be a useful 10-in-10 skill

yes it did cross my mind, it was a bit scary to be struggling on an 8 mile run, but I guess just a bad day at the office - just hope i don't have a bad day in May.

Statistically, you'll have at least one bad day in May. We all will.

Davy - I'm sure there will be more than one bad day - but if the last couple of years are anything to go by, the support and camaraderie of the guys in the 'challenge' will sort that out!! In a way - bad runs are good! Because they will need to be ground out. Good training, that!!

yes, probably true you do learn more about yourself on bad days, it's been along while since such a bad one, but toughens you up mentally I guess ? feel good that i got it done,i'm sure there are a few who wouldn't have gone out in such awful weather so that's pleasing
