I haven't got my name on mine:-( But hopefully I'll be with NSC as the 'other blonde in a Fetch shirt', unless she decides to replicate recent form and run the whole thing at a ridiculous pace:-P

Had a rubbish half marathon today - legs had nothing in them at 4 miles! Hoping to be in better shape next week. Will be wearing my club vest - silver with black diagonal stripe (which says Hermitage on the back, but by the time any supporters see that I'll have gone by;)). Looking forward to it and to seeing you all:) Full of admiration for the TiTs:):)

Anyone staying in Windermere or travelling through Windermere the way to Brathay with a spare seat in their car?
The closest accomodation I could get is in Windermere, not really fancying a 6 mile walk to the start, might try taxiing it otherwise. Also anyone know what taxis are like in the Lake District on Sundays? I've got to get from the finish, back to Windermere train station in time for my train on Sunday evening.

I'll be passing through Windermere and Ambleside on Sunday morning with spare seats in the car. If I see any hitchers with a 'Marathon start?' board, I'm happy to pick them up - lifts back to Oxenholme station (West coast main line avoiding need to get slow train from Windermere) afterwards will also be available.

Random question...
I've been looking at the route map for the Great Langdale Marathon and Half Marathon. Is the mara two circuits of the half mara? Is this run recommended?
