And the second time we did the District Double, we went for a potter in the hills on the Monday, though not, contrary to any scurrilous rumours, a BGR attempt
A couple of weeks after the DD this year, we did seven marathon-equivalents of time-on-feet on consecutive days - five in the Cuillin, one on the Storr, and then finished off with Ben Nevis via the CMD arete

We have *some* idea of what lies ahead, but it's impossible to do a proper dress rehearsal for something like this and I am sure there will be times when we'll find it quite a struggle, and there will be gremlins that will only raise their heads during the event.
