I've never baked a cake in my life. I might start soon. Maybe a fortnight from now.

I have consulted the big book of grub. How does ginger and lemon cake sound? It sounds virtuous to me. I might have a bash at chocolate and peanut butter brownies too.

Have asked my mother-out-law to bake her world famous caramel bars, and if I'm very good she'll let me bring some with me for afters.

He'd be wasted by 100 meters. I ran my first 5k with a guy who ran for Wales as a 60m sprinter. He said that he intended to keep up with me , but lost I left him within first 100m. Think he finished a good minute behind me.
Sounds like good fun. I have always wanted to train to run with blind runners. Think thay have real guts!

Tidy! It would be nice to build up that rapport so that you have good trust between you and your partner.

Saw a guy with bilateral leg amputations running in Snowdon. It can get real slippy in the rain at the top of the big hill. Had to go and speak to him.
