Less than a fortnight ... and we still don't have our running vests, and the centralised publicity is only just kicking off. They're laid-back, these northerners

I guess they wanted to leave the publicity late so it would be on the back of London but not clash with it ?
as long as my vest is there for me on may 8th that's good enough for me or can always wear the shirts my sponsors have provided ?

Hi folks - anyone know the total ascent for the route? Just been looking at the course profile and can't decide how intimidated to be...

I need some advice to all you experienced marathoners- am doing Brathay. Did my last long run 23 miles last Wednesday and am now panicking that 4 weeks is too long a taper. Have done 5 long runs totalling 100 miles. Have \i peaked too soon, have achilles problems . Had nightmares last night about not finishing!

No no Biastai, it's me that's scared
Mags, that sounds like you've got plenty in the bank. 4 weeks is longish for a taper but your fitness isn't going to disappear - far from it. If you're doing a long taper to preserve the achilles stick with it.

Mags! Well done on the training mate! You will finish don't worry. It is always hard though
Try a wedge under the heal of yourfoot with the tendon problem. Will give some relief.
