Yorkshire Pie (YP1)
Indeed, I ran a time 30 minutes slower than my PB on Sunday and my legs felt fine. Not that I'd have fancied another 9 consecutive days of marathon running, but it does make a huge difference.
(although it did get me contemplating the district double...)

I suppose it's how you prepare too.
I did my run on sunday on the back of a handful of >18 mile runs and my overall mileage is comparitively low.
I still take my hat off to them and the offer to come up and help is there.

XB - I believe we have a set start time each day - at either 9:30 or 10:00.
If you can get time off work, then ANY support on the course of any kind on any day, will be very welcome indeed Dave is right - pacing the 10-in-10 has to be thought about over the whole 10 days. Interestingly, a participant ran a lifetime best time on the (I think) the 7th marathon last year!!!
Me, I'll be happy to evenly pace lot. That'll do me nicely!

I think that Steve will have something to say about that! And Adam is super quick too!
I suspect that Steve's WR from last year will be blatted this year though!

i'm viewing it as a stage race & like off roaders wont worry about time, my goal is to complete the event in 60 hours & have some fun I'm certainly not as quick as most of the other TiT's, but hopefully I'll find some company for some days whilst out there.
I have a couple of dozen mates running the final day so looking forward to their support.

very difficult to translate even times in a double to 10 in a row ? personally i'm not gonna get hung up on time but then adam, steve & Leon could be battling for a World record ? I'm just a fun runner.
Tango - how's the fund raising going ?
