Foxy Davy Feb 2009 10:16pm, 28 Feb 2009 2,738 posts	Foxy Davy 5 hours might be optimistic for Day 9 - to be honest that's my hope but no idea what state i will be in by days 9 & 10 but pretty sure i'll be walking the uphill sections by then. be great to have the company but don't let me slow you down, if i'm going off 30 mins before & looking at 5 hours you'd be looking at a 4;30. (i presume it's a 30 mins head start ? )
eL Bee! Feb 2009 11:09pm, 28 Feb 2009 8,084 posts	eL Bee! Davy - there's a good chance that by Day 9 - as long as you don't pick up an injury, that you'll be running faster than you think!!. The participants in the last 2 years - and multi-day events in general - gained a degree of 'event' fitness. One lad last year even ran a lifetime PB late on in the event!!
