We're camping!!! Just starting getting into my stride again (hopefully) after breaking metatarsal on Ullswater 12k in November. So FLM is now going to be my last long run for Windermere:) |

Afternoon JB, yes, definately running this year. I (sensibly??) pulled out last year about 5 weeks before due to lack of big miles in my legs. Whilst I may have probably got around, the marathon is unforgiving and I know I would have suffered after. That is my excuse anyway. Back to Windy...very much looking forward to my visit to the Lakes and a good run around. |

Not much running so far this week, though hoping to get out tomorrow morning. I suppose I should get round to sorting out digs for the weekend. Kind of been busy as I've now entered Chicago marathon in October. So that will be my 2nd marathon of the year. I am planning on keeping it to 2 this year, but you never know

All the other TiTs appear to be churning out training that will leave eL Bee! and me setting off on 8th May looking like Jade Goody at the start of FLM in comparison. We're relying on the fact that participants in multi-day events tend to get stronger as the event goes on

Although we've run it twice before, I'm not at all confident of my ability to find my way round when there are 15 runners and a couple of supporters rather than a cast of thousands.
