Flanker - that is a bold statement! I'll reserve judgement till I've done it - Snowdonia will take some beating imho

it is JB. And virtually everybody who has done it, including several who have done Snowdon, agree.
However Snowdon is still the one UK road marathon I'm desperate to do having been around the course but never done the event. I think it would win on scenery, but I think Windermere would win overall on atmosphere and organisation. I'll ask you again at the end of May

lol T - you couldn't see that much last year given the weather conditions. Then again I am a local and, probably, take the scenery for granted.
Yes, I must admit flanker, that I am really looking forward to the atmosphere at Windemere - in particularly the opportunity to meet a number of fetchies (your good self included!) - after almost 3 years on FE I have only met a handful of Fetchies! Since Windermere came on the calendar again (I had feared that it was a one off) I was very keen to do it - more so, probably, than any other marathon (perhaps because I used to live a few miles from Windemere and have many happy memories there!)

Snowdonia is harder than Windermere. It's those last four miles!
