Councillors emails are here: stockport.gov.uk Bramhall councillors are: cllr.maureen.walsh@stockport.gov.uk cllr.h.foster-grime@stockport.gov.uk cllr.linda.holt@stockport.gov.uk cllr.bryan.leck@stockport.gov.uk cllr.paul.bellis@stockport.gov.uk brian.bagnall3@btinternet.com Good targets are: steve.watson@stockport.gov.uk (responsible for parks) patrick.bailey@stockport.gov.uk (responsible for athletics) ian.bennett@stockport.gov.uk (park manager) I suggest that you write *positively*: say how much you enjoy the run, that it is a good use of the park, well organised, that it is encouraging exercise in the community, enjoyed by all ages etc. I wouldn't mention dogs or complaints. If you use BCC it is less obvious spam. Include a link to the BRTT photos. |

I should add that steve.watson@stockport.gov.uk (responsible for parks) patrick.bailey@stockport.gov.uk (responsible for athletics) ian.bennett@stockport.gov.uk (park manager) Have all been supportive of the race - but so far only I've told them that it is working. |

Dunc - it is fine to register your 8 year old. We have other kids as young as 8. Tomorrow we will have a try out of the 1-lap version starting about 9:20. |

Hi all, missed laods of this thread. Hope you're all well. Homer - is your injury cured? Bob, do you need a marshall? If not I might well run tomorrow morning. My Garmin conked out when I went for a sub 20 5k in a club time trial last night (batteries went flat, I thought I had 1 lap left when I had 2 - no wonder I felt great despite thinking I was on for a 19m30s!). Maybe see you tomorrow morning folks! |

Wow. This race is really taking off. Well done to all concerned. Lisa, my wife is planning to run this tomorrow (she registered yesterday) in preparation for a race for life. I've reassured her it is a friendly race and she doesn't need to be fast or even run all the way. Can she choose the one lap version if she prefers? I'm sure I'll run this soon, but tomorrow I'm in a supporting role with children. |
