Me too, I haven't run it for a few weeks, although it was fun marshalling on Sat. Dodge - didn't realise it was you that slipped on the bridge (you weren't the only one I promise), hope you were ok!

Thanks KJO.

Was there any reason why runners were slipping on the bridge last week particularly? The wooden bridge has quite a good surface. I always think that the metal bridge is more of a hazard.

I'll warn runners about slipping on bridges before the races.

I know that there was a problem with duck poo on the corner down to the lake. I'll try to remove some of this before race. Any volunteers? ;).

Absolutely not. At my British Military Fitness class last night someone helpfully brought their dog to do its stuff in the grass right where we were training. I'm not looking forward to cleaning my trail shoes. :)

Nice. We are lucky that the Bramhall do walkers are pretty good in this respect.

Is that BMF ion Bruntwood Park? My OH thought of doing that but that is as far as she got.

Just looked at the photos and the wooden bridge is dry - how did you manage to fall over Dodge?

Thanlks KJO...no lasting damage: just a rather impressive 6 inch graze!

Bob....I think it was just a little over enthusiasm trying to catch up with the young lad in front of me who I have never manageg to catch yet :(.....coupled with a need to get some new running shoes

Good, Martin, but lose the capital letters!

Yes, Bob, it is Bruntwood Park. Get her down there. I love it, and I'm sure she'd appreciate the lovely, muscley instructors!

It'll be at least a month before I'm in Manchester on a Saturday morning again, but I'm looking forward to my return to the park.
