Had an entertaining sprint off with Kwaka... or was it Barky... my brain goes funny after a couple of miles.

I'm fine now - back on the cheese and red wine as normal. I heard a few people shouting at me, but I wasn't quite with it at the time! One Stockport runner went past me near the end when I was having one of my walk breaks.
Looking forward to getting back to 5K's again, but definitely not this week since I can still hardly walk.

Glad to hear it Andy. Can I recommend water and SIS gels instead of wine and cheese.

Actually, wine and cheese is probably better.

will be marshalling on Saturday morning then will be once again be putting RB's theory of BRTT being 1 minute slower than a flat 5k at Alex Park on Sunday. My last time at Alex Park didn't quite reflect this, ended up PB'ing at BRTT 1 week after Alex Park

pato - my philosophy with hills on lap courses is - what goes up must come down.

The variety of BRTT is good but Alex Park is pure speed if you can stay focussed
