Rb, as my new unofficial, you don't know about it, unpaid, personal trainer, I shall take your advice, have a lie in on Saturday and then have a punt at my 5k pb at Alex Park on Sunday.

I did roughly 16 miles at marathon pace on tuesday which is why my legs aren't happy. Miles 18 - 20 were horrible. Next 2 will be time on the feet 20 milers rather than anything to do with pace. Does anyone ever enjoy marathon training ?

TBB - until an hour ago my plan was the same as yours but due to a night out switching from Fri to Sat - I am now giving it another go at BRTT on Sat (down to 21:42 last week with a bit in the tank)

Bob - I'm not running on Saturday now (injured yet again) but can still help out if needed.

I enjoy my marathon training 2.5 hours or so in the hills Lyme Park / Goyt / Bollington / New Mills but I wouldn't run 20 miles on the road. Which is perhaps why FLM mile 24 was in meltdown...

Steve - yes it would be great if you could still come to help. Hope injury not too bad.

Just saying hello. I'm still lazing around post-London. Although I am doing the Bluebell Trail on Sunday. Slowly.
